Description

Position Summary :   Assist physicians and allied healthcare staff in performing a variety of diagnostic and interventional cardiac / endovascular procedures. Utilizes knowledge of pathophysiology to ensure patients are prepared / educated / supported during procedures. A strong critical care experience to recognize / handle emergency situations. On Call availability is required.

Experience :

Required : 1-3 years Critical Care experience and or Cath Lab experience. BLS and ACLS. EKG interpretation.

Preferred : Previous Cath Lab experience.

Education :  Diploma / Associates degree required.   BSN is preferred.

License and Credentials :   NJ RN license required.  CCRN or RCIS is preferred.

Skills :

Required : IV certification, excellent communication / interpersonal skills, flexibility, diplomacy, tact, foresight. Performs well in high stress, fast paced environment.

Preferred : Sterile technique, preparing for sterile procedures.

Bi-Weekly Hours : 80 hours

Work Schedule : M - F  7 am - 5 : 30 pm

The minimum starting rate for this position is $47.08
