Interim Assistant Director Of Emergency Department
A Maryland hospital is seeking their next Interim Assistant Director of Emergency Department!
The Position
The Interim Assistant Director of Emergency Department will oversee the day-to-day operations throughout the department.
This leader will oversee approximately 110+ FTEs and will focus on current initiatives including nursing operations, patient care / delivery, provider relationships, and staff engagement.
Key responsibilities include assessing the department's operational effectiveness and culture, coaching team members toward accountability, and guiding leadership decisions on performance improvement, retention, or transition of personnel.
The ideal candidate will have a strong operational and leadership background, and the ability to quickly evaluate and drive change. Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical.
Must be available to start within 23 weeks of acceptance.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree is required.
Active MD RN license is required.
BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
Compensation Details
Compensation Range : $160,000 to $170,000 annually.
The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
