Ability to perform complex technical tasks in a laboratory and classroom setting interacting effectively with students faculty and staff. 2. Simulation Educator Certification such as the Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator ( CHSE ) and/or continuing education in the advanced principles of simulation. 3. Familiarity with the scope of practice of programs offered within NAAH . 4. Patient care experience in medical surgical or higher acuity nursing. 5. Experience developing running debriefing and evaluating simulations. 6. Commitment to examine reflect and modify instructional relational classroom practices to more effectively engage and support disproportionately impacted student populations with a goal of closing equity gaps (see Student Equity website at ). 7. Ability to contribute to the mission of the college.

Minimum Qualifications
To be eligible for this position you must meet and provide evidence of the following minimum qualifications: To be eligible for this position you must meet and provide evidence of the following State and California Board of Registered Nursing minimum qualifications: 1. a masters degree in nursing (the transcripts you are attaching must show that the degree was awarded); AND 2. a current active California license as a Registered Nurse; AND 3. at least one (1) year of experience teaching courses related to registered nursing OR have completed a post-baccalaureate course which includes practice in teaching registered nursing; AND 4. at least two (2) years of continuous full-time experience within the last five (5) years in a direct patient care practice as a registered nurse OR as a clinical instructor; AND 5. demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic socioeconomic cultural disability gender identity sexual orientation and ethnic backgrounds of community college students faculty and staff. OR 6. a fully satisfied lifetime California Community College credential authorizing instruction/service in the appropriate subject matter; OR 7. the equivalent.
