Salary : $18-$22 PER HOUR

Medium sized, well respected private practice, specializing in Internal Medicine. Fast paced, family oriented work environment.

Duties include :

Rooming patients in a quick and efficient manner for multiple providers; Measuring and recording accurate vitals signs; Perform an accurate medication reconciliation; Document incoming and outgoing patient communication in the Electronic Health Record (EHR); Sending in medication refills to the pharmacy; Administering In office procedures, such as EKGs and Pulmonary function tests; Phlebotomy / Venipuncture services ; Preparing Lab Requisitions; Administering therapeutic Intramuscular (IM) injections and routine vaccinations; Contributing to patient education by reinforcing and highlighting the Plan of Care at the time of patient check out.

Work duties are often rotated, based on the needs of the practice, so all Medical Assistants are cross-trained in all roles, allowing an opportunity to keep the breadth of your skills sharp.

Prior work experience is preferred, but it is not a prerequisite.

Must be proficient in Medical Terminology

Must carry valid Medical Assistant Certification. Must have basic computer proficiency. Good interpersonal and communication skills are a must.

Pay : $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
