Job Overview : The Mental Health Closed Unit, is a 27 bed involuntary adult inpatient unit. This unit offers short term care facility with a focus on stabilizing acute patients utilizing a therapeutic and evidence-based approach. Anxiety, depression, panic, suicidal ideation, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, etc., are some of the many conditions that the Adult Outpatient Unit treats. We provide services in many languages and have a strong cultural sensitivity for individuals between 18 and 55 years old. Our highly trained staff provides expertise in the areas of psychiatric, psychosocial, and psychological evaluation. We offer medication monitoring, individual, group, couples and family psychotherapy. Each patient is carefully evaluated and an individualized treatment plan is offered. It is our goal to provide this service in a compassionate environment aimed at restoring the highest level of functioning possible in the shortest time possible. Our goal is for individuals to become self-reliant and to utilize community based support upon the completion of treatment.
