: \n? The RN or LPN at Goshen Medical Center is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for the assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care of patients. The employee will utilize the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice, and coordination of care with other health team members.\n\nExamples of Job Responsibilities : \n\n?\n\nConduct patient work-up\n\n?\n\nAssist primary care provider\n\n?\n\nAssist with medical procedures (e.g. labs, dispersion of medications, etc.)\n\n?\n\nAssess patient vital signs\n\n?\n\nDocument patient EMR information (e.g. patient vitals, medication reconciliation, etc.)\n\n?\n\nProvide assistance with patient referrals and authorizations\n\n?\n\nAssist in coverage of additional Goshen Medical Center facilities with daily operations as required\n\n?\n\nMedical office administration (e.g. patient check-in, patient check-out, etc.)\n\n?\n\nSupervision of RN / LPN / CNA / CMA clinical staff, as assigned.\n\n?\n\nOther assigned duties\n\nCredentials : \n\n?\n\nNorth Carolina RN or LPN License\n\n?\n\nCPR / BLS Certification\n\n?\n\nLicensure and Certification(s) must be current and must be maintained as a condition of employment.\n\nClinical Experience & Skills Requirements : \n\n?\n\n2-years Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse experience in a clinical setting (e.g. health care clinic, hospital, etc.)\n\n?\n\nAbility to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing\n\n?\n\nBasic computer skills\n\n?\n\nAbility to multi-task and provide administrative office assistance if necessary (e.g. answer phones, fax documents, call back patients, etc.)\n\nPreferred Clinical Experience & Skills : \n\n?\n\nPhlebotomy experience (preferred but not required)\n\n?\n\nBilingual (Spanish) (preferred but not required)\n\n?\n\nElectronic Medical Record experience (preferred but not required)\n\nPhysical Requirements : \n\n?\n\nMust be able to work in a dynamic and active environment\n\n?\n\nPosition may require long periods of standing or walking\n\n?\n\nRegular and recurring back bending may be required\n\n?\n\nCarrying of light packages (e.g. 10 to 25 lbs.) may be required
