Job Title : General Production Worker

Job Description

Join our team as a General Production Worker where you will engage in palletizing and shrink-wrapping products, cleaning and sanitizing workstations, and moving products with a manual pallet jack. You will also weigh products before they are transferred to the warehouse and record digital weights using a small scale. This role involves handling bags weighing up to 50lbs and moving bowls on wheels weighing up to 1,000 lbs, with a requirement to move at least eight bowls per shift.

Responsibilities

• Palletize and shrink-wrap products.
• Clean and sanitize workstations.
• Move products / materials using a manual pallet jack.
• Weigh products before transferring them to the warehouse.
• Read and record digital weights on a small scale.
• Move bags weighing up to 50lbs and work in pairs for heavier loads.
• Push and pull bowls on wheels weighing up to 1,000 lbs, with a requirement of moving at least eight bowls per shift.

Work Environment

Work in a close-knit environment where safety is paramount. The dress code includes steel-toed boots, hair net, eye protection, jeans, shirt, bump cap, and lab coat. Employees must follow GMPs such as avoiding smoking, wearing perfumes, or jewelry, and ensuring clothing is intact. Temperatures can reach up to 90 degrees in summer within some manufacturing rooms, whereas winters are comfortable. The orientation process is conducted on-site over 3-4 hours, with work schedule communication provided prior to the orientation date.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Albert Lea, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00 / hr.
