Guest Services Director
Reports to Executive Pastor

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages all Guest Services volunteer teams and leads the recruitment and training of all new volunteers. Working with ministry leaders, seeks to improve vision, strategy, and execution of Guest Services ministry in alignment with the mission of NewSpring Church.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Oversees Guest Services operations for all weekend services and special events, coordinating with other ministries as required. Directs volunteer team captains to ensure effective execution. Oversees weekly auditorium supply replenishment. (app. 40%)
In collaboration with leadership, develops and implements vision and strategic direction for the Guest Services ministry. Meets regularly with senior leadership to provide strategic recommendations for ministry implementation, modifying approach as instructed. Assists with church-wide initiatives as directed. (app. 15%)
Establishes and executes an ongoing training program for all existing and new volunteers. (app. 15%)
Responsible for implementing continued volunteer growth strategies for Guest Services. Leads & plans Guest Services volunteer appreciation events. (app. 15%)
Manages Guest Services database processes for volunteer scheduling. (app. 10%)
Assists with Guest Services budget management and oversees Guest Services resource inventory (communion supplies, etc.). (app. 5%)

These duties are subject to change as church needs and strategies evolve. Employee may be required to perform other duties.

Requirements

Weekends are required for this position.
EDUCATION/TRAINING College courses or training in leadership development preferred.
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
Experience may be considered in lieu of education.

EXPERIENCE
A minimum of 3-5 years working or volunteering in Christian ministry.
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role or experience with leading teams.
Proven experience in recruitment, training, and leadership.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands:

Ascend and descend stairs and/or ramps.
Remain in a stationary position, often sitting for prolonged periods.
View and operate technological devices, including but not limited to, computers, phones, printers, and radios.

WORKING CONDITIONS
This position works primarily indoors. Occasional outdoor work may be required.
