Estimator / CAD Drafter

The ideal candidate needs to have construction estimating or field experience :

• Requirements
• Meticulous, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Critical thinker, not hesitant to ask questions.
• Math, engineering, and / or architectural design background is preferred.
• Must be open to learning new skills and willing to work in a busy deadline-driven environment.
• Precast Terrazzo manufacturer doing business nationwide and internationally.
• Salary range based on experience.
• In-office position 8am-5pm.
• Fulltime position.
• Opportunity for some travel to seminars, etc.
• Must have
• High School Diploma or equivalent, some college preferable, but not required.
• Proficient computer knowledge in MS office suite
• Apple operating systems
• Excellent communication skills to facilitate customer interactions to ensure successful client satisfaction thru accurate and useful ability to provide information.
• CAD experience
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and documents
• Excellent verbal and written English language skills
• Bilingual is a plus but not required.
• Estimator experience—entry or mid-level for finish trades—millwork, flooring, stone, glass, etc.
• CNC Machinery experience is a big plus

Assist in researching, evaluating, and helping take off upcoming potential projects.

Preparing word documents, excel spreadsheets, manipulating PDF documents for internal and client use

Researching material pricing, availability, quantity, and accuracy

Participate in answering clients verbal and emailed questions regarding product-related needs

Maintain an organized workspace and paperwork environment.
