Position Overview
The Recruiter partners with hiring managers to fulfill staffing requirements by managing the full recruitment lifecyclefrom job requisition to offer acceptance. This position serves as a consultant on talent acquisition strategies and candidate assessment techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define position requirements and recruitment strategies.
- Develop and post job advertisements for internal and external audiences.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates to ensure alignment with organizational needs.
- Facilitate offer negotiations and onboarding coordination.
- Track recruitment metrics and prepare hiring reports.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Behavioral Science.
- Six (6) years of corporate recruiting experience.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of full-cycle recruitment and employment laws.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency with ATS and HR systems.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Certification Requirement
- SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent preferred.
Clearance Requirement
- Must pass WMATAs hiring and compliance screening.
