Job description
A company is looking for an In-House Privacy Counsel to lead data privacy and protection efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic legal counsel on data privacy and protection matters
Lead and scale the company's privacy compliance program
Develop and implement comprehensive data privacy and security policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in any U.S. state
7+ years of data privacy and security experience
Experience in assessing data privacy compliance and developing policies
Experience addressing data breaches and providing strategic advice on data security issues
