State Licensed Trauma Registrar

A company is looking for a Trauma Registrar.

Key Responsibilities

Collect, abstract, and report data from trauma patient medical records

Participate in trauma registry courses and maintain necessary certifications

Ensure accurate data entry and management in trauma database systems

Required Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Health Information Management or related program or applicable experience

Licensure / certification such as CAISS, CSTR, or RHIT required within two years of hire

Previous trauma registry experience preferred; computer data entry experience required

Knowledge of trauma database systems and computer system interfaces preferred

Ability to perform detailed and organized work
