Clinical Nurse Manager

To support U.S. Urology Partners by providing administrative operations to the clinic(s). Responsible for the Company Vision "To be the prominent urology practice and beyond, with a reputation for delivering excellent and effective care in all urologic modalities. By providing full-service urology to the patients and communities we serve, there will be greater satisfaction as well as patient and physician loyalty which will allow U.S. Urology Partners continued success and growth."

What You'll Be Doing

  • The Clinical Nurse Manager will work closely with the Director of Nursing / COO to ensure optimal patient care and efficient patient flow throughout the clinical areas.
  • Plan and prioritizes workflow with the goal of maximizing the efficiency and quality standard of the medical office clinical operations.
  • Interact with the physicians, COO and Human Resources to establish and implement action plans designed to maximize the effectiveness of the office operations.
  • Creates policies and procedures focused on continuous improvement and solutions to daily issues.
  • Works with Human Resources to ensure that each office location is properly staffed for efficient operation of daily business.
  • Coordinates proper training process for all newly hired clinical staff.
  • Communicates realistic expectations to the clinical staff and works closely with Team Leaders to monitor progress and quality.
  • Analyzes patient needs and practice objectives with employee competencies to position staff to most effectively utilize individual skills and strengths.
  • Creates and maintains patient templates ensuring patients are scheduled in proper blocks of time for each physician.
  • Works with the Billing Manager and billing staff to ensure proper procedures are followed.
  • Ensures that staff maintains all patient information according to the established patient confidentiality policy. Verifies that necessary paperwork is presented to patients for understanding and signatures (HIPPA, practice, financial and other forms) as required.
  • Verifies that all medical dictations are obtained in a timely and accurate fashion and sent out to referring physicians.
  • Approves office staff work schedules, Paid Time Off requests and payroll timesheets in Workday as well as processes employee performance reviews in a timely manner.
  • Delegates the responsibilities of ordering and tracking all office supplies (verifies packing slips) and maintenance of storage areas.
  • Creates communications and spreadsheets as requested by management.
  • Communicates effectively to physicians and managers relative to all aspects of operations on a daily basis.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What We Expect From You

  • High School Graduate
  • Minimum of an Associated Degree preferred
  • Minimum of five (3) years of related experience
  • Experience in supervisory role 3-5 years
  • NYS LPN or RN license required
  • Reasoning Ability

    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

    Computer Skills

    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have thorough knowledge in computer information systems.

    Salary Range : Please note that the salary range for this position will vary based on experience level, education and geographical location. $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 / year
