Were seeking a passionate and driven Per Diem Physician to join our Palliative Care team in Grand Rapids, Michigan . This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health of our community while working in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Opportunity Details

  • Position Type : Per Diem (0.0 FTE) : Inpatient consulting service focusing on goals of care and complex pain management and opportunity to assist in growing outpatient palliative care oncology services.
  • Schedule : As needed; minimum of 3-4 shifts per quarter
  • Location : Grand Rapids, Michigan
  • Specialty : Palliative Care
  • Teaching Opportunities : Yes - Residents, Medical Students, Fellows
  • Call Requirements : No call

  • Palliative Care Fellowship required
  • Physicians : Board certified or board eligible (must become certified within 2 years)
  • Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA license
  • BLS certification (must be maintained)
  • Duties & Responsibilities

    A typical day may include :

  • Providing direct patient care
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Participating in teaching and mentoring
  • Documenting in Epic EMR
  • Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
  • Supporting community health efforts
