Pay Information

$150 to $160 per hour

About The Position

Summary : The Perfusionist operates the heart-lung machine and other equipment during cardiac surgery to manage the patient’s circulatory and respiratory functions. They work closely with surgeons and anesthesiologists to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities :

  • Operate and monitor the heart-lung machine during open-heart and related surgeries.
  • Manage patient blood flow, oxygenation, and temperature throughout procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain perfusion equipment and related supplies.
  • Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams for safe, effective care.

Job Requirements

Requirements :

  • 1 - Year experience Required.
  • Epic experience Required.
  • BLS Certification.
  • Obtaining a bachelor's degree.
  • Graduating from an Accredited Perfusion Technology Program or approved program of Extracorporeal Technology.
  • Certification through the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion to become a certified clinical perfusionist (CCP).
