Route Sales Driver

Route Sales Driver : Embark on an exhilarating career opportunity with The H&S Family of Bakeries , one of the largest family-owned bakeries, renowned for serving some of the largest restaurants, fast-food establishments, hospitals, and much more. As a Route Sales Driver, you'll be at the forefront of customer service, sales, delivery, and account collection. This dynamic role involves physically demanding work, effective customer communication, and proactive sales strategies to promote route growth and ensure account retention. We are seeking a self-organized individual with a professional demeanor, solid organizational and management skills, and an impeccable driving record.

Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver, display, and sell bakery products to customers in an assigned area.
• Serve all customers on the assigned route, making up to 40 stops per day.
• Track customer sales by maintaining order files, collections information, and route history.
• Handle customer relations by understanding customer store policies affecting bakery products and establishing professional relationships.
• Identify and report route problems to the sales manager.
• Meet and exceed sales goals according to company standards.
• Check the assigned truck before loading, keep it clean, and notify maintenance of necessary repairs.
• Verify product during load to ensure accurate customer orders and secure the load to prevent damage.
• Manage the schedule for timely deliveries.
• Practice and comply with all company policies and procedures, including work rules.
