Lead Housekeeper

Cedar Crest Hospital and RTC is looking for full time Lead Housekeeper. Responsible for maintaining a clean and healthy patient care environment.

Situated on over 30 acres in the beautiful rolling hills of Central Texas, Cedar Crest provides innovative behavioral health and substance abuse treatment for children, adolescents, and adults. Our private campus includes walking trails, picnic areas, outdoor swimming pool, full-size gym, and state-of-the-art exercise equipment; providing opportunities for leisure, therapeutic recreation, and team building skills. Cedar Crest provides a full continuum of care including adolescent residential, inpatient, outpatient, and partial hospitalization / intense outpatient treatments.

Essential Functions :

• Perform cleaning duties safely and in accordance with applicable federal and state regulations or law.
• Follow organization policy and procedures in order to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
• Disinfect rooms, furniture, fixtures, equipment and supplies, using appropriate processes and germicides for cleaning equipment.
• Other housekeeping duties, such as move and arrange furniture, turn mattresses, clean kitchens, cooking utensils, silverware, sweep, scrub, wax, or polish floors, as needed.
• Launder soiled linens as directed.
• Maintain adequate cleaning supplies for department / unit uses. Properly clean and store all equipment and supplies after each shift.
• Routinely practice infection control measures. Prepare rooms for meetings and arrange decorations and furniture for facility.
• May oversee the day-to-day operation of housekeeping for facility.
• May be responsible for stocking of supplies.
