Position Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Calendar Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least one (1) year of experience in legal calendaring—specifically, calculating and tracking deadlines and court dates in accordance with California and federal rules—and will be comfortable managing a busy litigation calendar for multiple attorneys. This is a 100% in-office position in our brand new Downtown Los Angeles office.
Key Responsibilities :
- Accurately calculate, input, and maintain all litigation deadlines, hearings, and events in accordance with applicable court rules and procedures.
- Review case documents (including complaints, motions, discovery, and court orders) to identify key dates and deadlines.
- Coordinate with attorneys and paralegals to ensure all deadlines are properly calendared and communicated.
- Utilize Clio legal practice management software for calendaring and case tracking.
- Monitor updates to local and federal court rules to ensure compliance.
- Provide administrative calendaring support for case filings and attorney appearances.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 1 year of experience in legal calendaring within a law firm setting (employment law experience preferred).Proficiency with Clio or similar legal practice management software.Strong understanding of California Rules of Court and local court filing procedures.Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Compensation & Benefits :
