A Studio Production Utility Technician is a versatile support role that involves setting up, maintaining, and operating a wide range of production equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio gear. This position requires a "jack of all trades" skill set, troubleshooting technical issues, and performing various technical duties to ensure the smooth operation of a studio during live broadcasts or recordings.

Job Responsibilities

• Equipment set up and tear down :  Transport, set up, and take down equipment like cameras, microphones, lighting, and audio / video mixers for broadcasts and recordings
• Equipment operation :  Operate and maintain equipment to ensure proper levels, calibration, and quality including camera control units, switchers, and audio boards
• Technical support :  Provide on-the-spot support and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues as they arise
• Maintenance :  Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure proper working order
• Studio upkeep : Assist with set changes, manage inventory, and keep the studio floor safe and organized
• Collaboration :  Work closely with directors, producers, and other crew members to execute technical elements and meet production goals

Job Requirements

Compensation : Wage + Performance-Based Bonus, Comprehensive Benefits Package. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the range listed above.
