VHS is looking for a qualified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists - Obstetrics.

Shift Details : 40 hour work week
Will ONLY consider candidates that can work every week no part timers.Schedule : Needing candidates who can work 4x10s - full time. Want them to rotate to one of the ambulatory surgery centers ASCs. Lexington has three ASCs. They are located in Lexington Irmo and the Northeast Columbia area. As long as they agree to rotate to one of the surgery centers it does not have to be specific to one surgery center. They can expect to travel to the surgery center up to 1 time a week. On occasion they may be asked to go twice. Depending on when the cases finish at the surgery center they may be able to finish their shift there. If they finish at the surgery center before their shift is completed they will need to travel back to the main hospital to complete their shift.

Support staff : Anesthesia techsPatients per day : Approximately 150 anesthetics per day between Main OR ASCs IR Cath Lab EP OB MRI etc.Patient population / age : 18 – Geriatric. Very limited pediatric cases but travelers is not included in pediatric casesDepartment description : Large department of 70 CRNAs with 15 anesthesiologists working under Medical Direction Care Team model providing anesthesia for generally GYN ortho urology and vascular casesEMR : Epic Highly PreferredSpecial Equipment : Have Glidescopes Alaris IV pumps. Utilize Draeger anesthesia machines.Skills required : No regional or block skills neededPractice Setting :
