We are looking for a skilled Training and Communications Specialist to join our team in Moline, Illinois. This long-term contract position offers an exciting opportunity to design and deliver comprehensive training programs tailored to financial industry systems and solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate with subject matter experts, develop engaging training materials, and lead impactful sessions to support organizational growth and change.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and deliver training programs focused on core financial systems, including teller platforms, account opening tools, and online banking solutions.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather information and ensure training content meets the needs of various departments.
- Create high-quality training materials, including manuals and resources, following established style guides and standards.
- Attend project meetings and vendor sessions to gain a thorough understanding of new systems and processes.
- Plan and facilitate both virtual and on-site training events, catering to audiences ranging from small groups to larger teams.
- Adapt training content and delivery methods to address the specific needs and challenges of the organization.
- Support impacted employees through process discussions and change management efforts.
- Maintain and update training plans, ensuring alignment with project timelines and organizational goals.
- Deliver live training sessions confidently to diverse audiences, fostering engagement and knowledge retention.
- Collaborate with team members to share ideas, troubleshoot challenges, and continuously improve training initiatives.
- At least 5 years of experience in training development and delivery, ideally within the financial services industry.
- Proficiency in using tools such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Adobe editing software, and Microsoft Teams.
- Demonstrated ability to create and present training materials effectively in live environments.
- Strong collaboration skills, with experience working alongside subject matter experts to develop content.
- Comfortable writing training materials based on input and guidance without requiring expert-level system knowledge.
- Familiarity with following style guides and utilizing various tools for content creation.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, with confidence in speaking and presenting to diverse groups.
- Experience with virtual and in-person training delivery methods.
