Pay : $20 / hour

Shift : 2nd Shift – 2 : 30 PM to 11 : 15 PM

Job Summary :

Our client is hiring a CNC Machinist to join our team in Arlington, TX. This temp-to-hire position plays a critical role in our manufacturing process, with a focus on setting up and programming CNC lathe machines for precision production. Ideal candidates will bring strong CNC machining skills and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

Set up and program CNC lathe machines for production runs

Operate CNC machinery to manufacture precision components

Perform inspections using standard measuring tools to ensure quality

Adjust machine settings and tooling as needed to maintain tolerances

Maintain equipment and work area in a clean, safe condition

Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints

Required Experience :

Hands-on experience setting up and programming CNC lathe machines in a production environment

Nice-to-Have Experience :

Exposure to manufacturing environments focused on metal or fastener production

Experience working in temp-to-hire or high-volume industrial roles

Required Skills :

Proficient in CNC lathe setup and programming

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics

Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers)

Preferred Skills :

Familiarity with standard machining codes and CNC controls

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor programming or machining issues

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain tight tolerances
