Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care and support under the supervision of a licensed therapist.
Achieve performance targets and contribute to team success metrics.
Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment techniques as necessary.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home exercises.
Utilize evidence-based practices to ensure high-quality patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
Engage in regular feedback sessions to enhance personal and team performance.
Assist in maintaining a clean and safe therapy environment.
Participate in community outreach programs to promote health and wellness.
Experience / Qualifications
Current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in North Carolina.
Eagerness to achieve performance targets and contribute to team success.
Experience in providing patient care in a physical therapy setting.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
Strong communication skills for educating patients and families.
Ability to monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress.
Ability to maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities.
Familiarity with evidence-based practices in physical therapy.
Experience collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Willingness to participate in community outreach for health promotion.
