This position is located at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California.

This position is not eligible for telecommuting.

Salary determined by Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Essential Functions

• Maintains and operates electronic communications equipment.
• Operates and maintains operational voice and data communications, public address equipment, administrative telephone systems, and circuits, under minimal supervision.
• References written or graphic documentation or verbal directions to activate, operate, maintain, modify, repair, overhaul, relocate, or replace communication panels, headsets, handsets, telephones, speakers, microphones, ringer and alarm signaling devices, uninterruptible power systems, filters, couplers, cables, and associated wiring, cabling, and circuits.
• Performs complex and / or routine tasks while working on electronic equipment, following detailed instructions, and assists peer technicians to install, remove, operate, and maintain equipment and supporting hardware using common hand tools, under technical guidance from supervisor or higher-level technicians.
• Perform other duties / cross utilization as assigned.

The hourly rate for this role is determined by a Collective Bargaining Unit and ranges from $35.71 to $40.83. RGNext considers several factors when extending an offer for employment, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education / training and preferred skills and knowledge.
