Description : Position Overview :
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our clinical team. This flexible position, available on a full-time or part-time basis, focuses on delivering occupational therapy services to children with autism spectrum disorder. The ideal candidate will bring clinical expertise, creativity, and a collaborative mindset to help clients develop functional skills necessary for success in daily life.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans targeting sensory regulation, fine and gross motor skills, self-care, and adaptive functioning.
- Deliver therapy services in clinical, home, and community settings.
- Utilize evidence-based interventions to support self-regulation, participation, and skill development.
- Provide caregiver education and strategies to promote skill generalization.
- Collaborate with speech therapists, behavior therapists, and other team members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Document services and maintain records in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
Requirements : Qualifications :
Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.Current Minnesota OT license or eligibility for licensure.Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.Dedication to evidence-based practices and client-centered care.Preferred Location : Rochester, MN.
