Responsibilities
Develop and edit CMM programs using PC-DIMS and MCOSMOS for machined components.
Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, specifications and technical documentation to define inspection strategies.
Identify and utilize appropriate fixturing, tooling, and setups to ensure repeatable and accurate measurements.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings / specifications / standards in accordance with customer requirements.
Review and verify inspection and testing of products for compliance with drawings and specifications.
Perform measurement system analysis (MSA) and gage R&R to validate measurements.
Create and maintain quality assurance documentation including control plans, inspection plans, FAI, PPAP per customer requirements.
Ensure that projects and process control documentation are compliant with requirements, objectives and / or contracts.
Work closely with crossfunctional teams, including engineers, machinists, and quality control personnel
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company safety guidelines.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements and skills
Previous work experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role. A degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
3+ experience in CMM programming required.
Strong knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, and inspection methodologies.
Working knowledge and familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS9100.
Proven experience in quality inspection and assurance in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, SPC) for measurement data interpretation.
Ability to perform well in a highpressure, fast-paced environment
Team player with a positive attitude and a passion for excellence.
Ability to work, drive initiatives and achieve objectives with minimal supervision.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Requirements :
Education / Work Experience
An associate degree an engineering discipline is required, Bachelor preferred. 5-plus years of relevant experience required.
Basic Qualifications
Previous experience with Supplier Quality with Aerospace machining suppliers.
Experience with deployment and management of Production Part Approval Process
Ability to work, drive initiatives and achieve objectives with minimal supervision
Ability to perform well in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
Strong program and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
Strong executive presence, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
