Description
Objective :
The position objective of a Senior Parts Person is to be the face of MacAllister to those customers needing parts for their equipment. The successful candidate would process parts orders in a timely manner to provide quality and speedy service.
Responsibilities :
- With direction and supervision, you will :
- Communicate and attend to customer needs and provide timely and creative solution over the phone as well as in person
- Pick and pack orders
- Manage stocks / inventory through the use of internal system
- Reporting on competitive activity
- Receive and inspect remanufactured parts
- Accept and process any parts returns
- Managing the shipping and receiving, including the planning of routes of shipment
- Advise customers on products, any updates, and any policies, procedures and programs as necessary
- Operate warehouse equipment (hose machine, forklifts)
- Maintain a clean working area as per MacAllister policies
Qualifications :
Minimum completion of High School DiplomaPrevious experience of 3-5 years working in a parts / stocks department within a retail organizationUnderstanding of the heavy equipment industry and parts is highly regardedStrong customer support and communication skills to be able to communicate ideas across clearly over the phone as well as face to faceAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to navigate stock management softwareNice to have :
