Job descriptionCurrent, active RN license in good standing. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (or ability to obtain prior to start). Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience preferred. Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills. MUST NOT be a previous employee of St. Mary’s. Candidates with disciplinary actions or hits on license / background will not be accepted. Perform thorough patient assessments upon admission and throughout the patient’s stay. Administer IV medications, therapies, and blood products as ordered. Deliver high-quality, compassionate emergency care in a fast-paced environment. Provide patient and family education regarding treatments, medications, and care plans. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing actions, observations, patient responses, and teaching activities. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
