Location : Myrtle Beach Headquarters (remote / onsite hybrid possible)

FLSA Status : Non-Exempt (Hourly)

Position Overview

United Roofing is seeking a Part-Time Collections Specialist that is able to work two days a week to support our finance and administrative team by managing customer accounts receivable, following up on outstanding invoices, and assisting in the lien process when necessary. This role is critical in ensuring healthy cash flow, maintaining professional customer relationships, and upholding Uniteds commitment to integrity, compliance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor customer accounts for overdue balances and follow up with timely phone calls, emails, and written notices.
• Document all customer communications and payment commitments in company systems.
• Send friendly reminder emails / calls before escalation to certified letters or lien procedures.
• Prepare and mail certified letters for unpaid balances, in line with company policy.
• Collaborate with HR and Legal teams on lien filings, small claims, or theft-of-service escalations.
• Maintain accurate collections records, payment logs, and reporting metrics for leadership review.
• Provide weekly updates to the CFO and HR Director on collections performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policy, federal / state collection laws, and customer agreements.
