This full-time interior design position requires you to work from 7 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday , with on-call responsibilities as needed.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS OUR CERTIFIED INTERIOR DESIGNER

As a Certified Interior Designer, you will create detailed floor plans, determining the placement of walls, electrical outlets, and plumbing fixtures to ensure ergonomic and practical layouts. Your expertise in material and finish selection will come into play as you curate and specify interior materials such as flooring, cabinetry, countertops, paint colors, and lighting, all tailored to client preferences and budget. Collaborating closely with the construction team, you will act as a liaison, providing detailed design drawings and documentation to tradespeople, making site visits to oversee progress, and resolving any design challenges that arise. Throughout the day, you will manage project timelines, craft cost estimates, and place orders for materials and furnishings to keep everything on schedule and within budget. Your focus on safety and code compliance will guide your design choices, ensuring that each space is not only beautiful but also meets local building codes and accessibility standards.
