Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging exams with accuracy and efficiency.
• Operate radiology equipment according to ALARA principles to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Evaluate physician orders, verify patient identification, and explain procedures clearly.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and imaging managers to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Assist with therapeutic and interventional imaging when needed.
• Complete timely documentation in EMR, RIS, and PACS systems.
• Conduct daily quality control checks, tube warm-ups, phantom imaging, and maintain proper equipment function.
• Educate patients and staff about imaging safety and procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and ODH safety standards.
