JOB SUMMARY : To evaluate and diagnose students at risk for communication fine / gross motor sensory hearing & visual disorders and to provide direct service to students as required by AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Completes all assessments including written report within timelines mandated by IDEA
Completes all progress reports within timelines mandated by IDEA
Maintains written records of service delivery for all students
Consults with administration staff and families regarding interventions and strategies for identified students
Participates and reports evaluation results to IEP eligibility meetings
Observes students in their learning environments as requested
Participates in Professional Development opportunities and stays current with evaluation instruments
Consult with other professionals as needed
QUALIFICATIONS :
Masters degree required
Three years experience working within a school / clinical setting
Knowledge of IDEA regulations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
COMPENSATION : $54373.00 - $93870.00 commensurate with education and experience
