Job description

ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Springfield, Missouri.

RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details :

  • Work night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM
  • Choose between 36 or 48 guaranteed weekly hours
  • 13-week assignment length
  • Weekend hours as required by facility
  • No call requirements
  • Float on rotational basis
  • Patient ratios : Days 1 : 5-1 : 6, nights 1 : 6-1 : 7 (ratios not guaranteed)
  • Work on 24-bed Med Tele 7D unit
  • Care for medical, medical telemetry, and observation patients
  • Equipment includes telemetry monitoring, lift equipment, IV pumps, and tube feeding pumps
  • Electronic medical records system : EPIC
  • Required : Current RN license (Missouri eligible or licensed), BLS from AHA only, NIHSS certification (may obtain prior to start)
  • Experience : Minimum 1 year telemetry inpatient experience required
  • Dress code : Black scrubs only
  • Position is auto-offer
  • Provide direct patient care for all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments
  • Physical demands include standing and walking most of shift, bending, stooping, lifting, and turning patients with assistance
  • High risk exposure to blood and body fluids
