Summary:
A Customer Delivery Driver for Capital Electric is responsible for checking and loading material onto truck, delivering material to customer or Capital Electric branch in a timely professional manner, and forming positive customer relationships to ensure the correct material reaches the customer while maintaining the reputation of providing a reliable and accountable delivery service

Responsibilities:
* Check material in staging area and load truck
* Create shipping manifests
* Perform truck maintenance inspections
* Deliver material to customers and/or Capital Electric branch locations
* Drive truck defensively, cautiously, and respectfully to various locations
* Unload and place material where customer requests
* Provide good customer service
* Pick-up customer returns
* Unload truck of customer returns
* Follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision
* Be on time and work diligently with co-workers
* Multi-task and continually prioritize tasks to be completed throughout the day
* Other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications:
* 2 years driving experience - 20 ft. box truck

* Must be able to pass the DOT physical
* No prior traffic violations or license suspensions for one year
* Able to lift up to 50 lbs. on regular basis; up to 70 lbs. occasionally
* Reliable, responsible, and a great work ethic
