Job Description

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A professional opportunity is available for a dedicated individual with expertise in providing targeted support within a K-12 educational setting. This part-time role focuses on delivering essential services to students with varying needs, ensuring an inclusive and enriching learning environment.

Qualifications :

  • Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
  • Experience working in a school setting, particularly with K-12 students
  • Strong ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and support staff

Location : Wake Forest, NC

Responsibilities :

  • Provide direct physical therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
  • Assess student needs and develop appropriate therapy goals
  • Maintain documentation of services provided and student progress
  • Collaborate with educational staff to support students overall development
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and needs
  • Manage a caseload of four students, focusing on direct service delivery
