Job Title : Maintenance Group Leader

Job Description

As the Maintenance Group Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing a small to medium-sized team of maintenance employees. Your primary role will involve managing the maintenance and repair of plant equipment and facilities, ensuring alignment with standard maintenance systems. You will play a crucial role in decision-making based on established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct appropriate checks and tests and communicate evaluation of results.
• Recommend solutions to problems.
• Responsible for preventative maintenance and diagnosis of equipment malfunctions.
• Meet schedule and quality requirements.
• Comply with the terms of local and national labor agreements.
• Implement divisional and corporate policies, as well as safety and good housekeeping practices.
• Maintain frequent contact and collaboration with others outside of the work group.
• Ensure the effective use of personnel, materials, and equipment.
• Establish a course of action to accomplish completion of the job and / or project.
• Implement GMS principles.

Work Environment

This role is set in an automotive manufacturing environment. The position operates on a rotating shift schedule from Monday to Friday, with shifts that may rotate through weekends. Shift times are 1st : 7am-3 : 30pm, 2nd : 3pm-11 : 30pm, and 3rd : 11 : 00pm-7 : 30am. Think of this role as a full-time substitute teacher, filling in when and where needed.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Bedford, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00 / hr.
