Description : The Database Developer will support the Information Technology Services Division (ITSD) for the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) by providing ongoing database development, maintenance, and support for critical state education applications such as ePeGs, ASBR, CORE Data, FNS, MCDS, and Educator Certification.The role involves analyzing, developing, and maintaining ETLs, stored procedures, and SSIS packages, collaborating with developers and subject matter experts to support and improve DESE's data-driven systems.

Responsibilities :

• Planning, executing, and monitoring IT or business projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
• Project Management : Hands-on experience coordinating project activities, resources, schedules, and deliverables. Strong familiarity with PM methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
• PMP Certification : Preferred for demonstrating formal knowledge of project management best practices.
• Stakeholder Management : Acts as the primary point of contact between technical teams, business users, and external partners, ensuring clear communication and timely updates.
• Risk & Issue Management : Identifies potential risks, implements mitigation strategies, and resolves issues promptly to minimize project impact.
• Documentation & Reporting : Prepares project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and ensures adherence to organizational standards.
