Now Hiring for Two Part-Time Teaching Shifts

• Morning Shifr (Part-Time) Monday - Friday | 9 : 00 am - 2 : 00 pm
• Evening Shift (Part-Time) Tuesday–Friday | 6 : 00 PM – 10 : 00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate, reliable, and student-focused Basic Esthetics Instructor to deliver high-quality classroom and hands-on instruction. This role involves teaching, demonstrating proper techniques, coaching students, ensuring safety, and helping students build confidence as they prepare for licensure and employment.

You do not need to be a certified instructor yet — but you must be willing to pursue the Virginia Esthetics Instructor credential with support and guidance from Lotus Professional College.

What You’ll Do

Teach engaging, state-aligned Basic Esthetics curriculum (theory + practical training)

Demonstrate proper skincare and spa techniques

Provide mentorship, coaching, and individualized support

Create lesson plans, presentations, and hands-on learning experiences

Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and documentation

Uphold Virginia DPOR requirements and accreditation standards

Model professionalism, sanitation, safety, and strong client service

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel supported

What We’re Looking For

Required :

Current Virginia Esthetician License (in good standing)

Instructor License or willingness to obtain it quickly

At least 3 years of professional esthetics experience

Ability to teach, demonstrate, and communicate clearly

Strong interpersonal skills and a student-centered approach

Professionalism, reliability, and a calm, structured teaching style

Instructor Certification Path (Virginia Requirements) :

Must complete one of the following :

A VA Board-approved instructor training program under a licensed instructor + pass exam

OR

A Board-approved post-secondary teaching techniques course

Preferred (but not required) :

Teaching or training experience

Knowledge of LMS platforms

Comfort using Microsoft Office, Google Suite, or digital tools

Schedule & Compensation

Part-Time, onsite teaching role

Hourly pay : $25–$35 / hr , depending on experience

Schedule aligns with selected shift (AM or PM)
