Position : Client Relationship Analyst — Morgan Stanley
Overview
Client Relationship Analysts provide exceptional service to clients and support Financial Advisor(s) (FAs), Private Wealth Advisor(s) (PWAs) and teams on a daily basis. Through regular interactions with clients, individuals in this role build trusted relationships. A client-first mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to assist clients with everyday needs are essential.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide service coverage for a FA / PWA / team, including cultivating and enhancing new and existing client relationships
- Execute money movement transactions at the request of the client and / or FA / PWA
- Answer general non-investment related questions concerning client accounts and relay account information (e.g., balances, funds due, margin debit)
- Enter profile information or pre-fill account documentation on client accounts and documents in clerical capacity
- Educate or enroll clients in digital tools (e.g., MSOnline, eSign, eAuthorization)
- Assist FAs / PWAs / teams with research related to investment portfolio holdings, performance reporting, and preparation of client meeting materials using firm-approved systems
- Assist with data entry for key client needs (e.g., new account opening, financial planning) under the direction of FAs / PWAs / teams
- Support marketing strategy for FAs / PWAs / teams (e.g., website maintenance) and help deliver against business plans and client service models
- Stay current on policies, procedures, and new platforms; participate in firm initiatives or special projects as directed
Administrative Support
Answer inbound calls or make outbound calls (e.g., scheduling follow-up calls with FAs / PWAs / teams)Manage calendars and coordinate meetings or events with logistics such as material prep and Zoom credentialsPrepare expense reports and assist with in-office support functions (copying, filing, scanning, etc.)Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills
Education and / or Experience
High School Diploma / Equivalency; college degree preferredIndustry experience is a plusWillingness to obtain Series 7 (GS) and Series 66 (AG / RA) or Series 63 (AG) and Series 65 (RA)Knowledge / Skills
