Job descriptionThe MS / Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care. Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education. Delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available. Provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care. Must have telemetry experience to apply. BLS certification required. ACLS certification required. Minimum 2 years of experience. Arizona state nursing license required. Night Shift : 7p - 7 : 30a. Work 6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule. 3 shifts per week, each 12 hours long. Telemetry unit experience required. Float pool position covering multiple departments and facilities. Ratio : 6 patients to 1 nurse. This is a float pool position requiring willingness to float between departments and facilities. Preferred start within 2 weeks of offer acceptance.
