LSC consists of eight colleges, seven centers, eight Workforce Centers of Excellence and Lone Star Corporate College.

The LSC-East Aldine Center, part of the larger East Aldine Town Center project, is a comprehensive educational campus that provides a mix of academic college transfer courses as well as workforce training programs in high-demand fields such as computer networking, welding, accounting and more. The center will also be home to the Aldine ISD Early College High School.

Job Description

PURPOSE AND SCOPE :

The Advisor II, Workforce provides advising to workforce and CTE students serving as first line of contact and as a resource on services available to students. Provides direction and referrals to workforce students to meet the students' needs from career guidance, through program selection and completion, and into job search preparations. Meets with students on a regular basis to track their success and progress, reporting on progress of students and involves others to assist with their success. Serves as a resource to colleagues on workforce and CTE programs, labor market information, and program requirements.

Salary

Hiring salary range is $44,793 - $51,512

Lone Star College provides a hiring salary range for all posted full-time non-faculty positions. Where your salary offer would fall in that range is determined by your related experience and education.
