Expo (Food Expeditor)
Location : FastTrax Entertainment – Fort Myers, FL
Department : Food & Beverage – Kitchen
Reports To : Kitchen Manager / Lead Cook
Position Type : Part-Time / Full-Time
Overview :
The Expo at FastTrax is the communication bridge between the kitchen and front-of-house staff. This role ensures that every plate of food is prepared correctly, plated beautifully, and delivered promptly—whether it's heading to the dining area, duckpin lanes, or lounge.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage the pass-through window and coordinate the timing of food orders
Double-check all outgoing orders for accuracy, portioning, presentation, and temperature
Communicate clearly with both kitchen and serving staff to maintain ticket flow
Prioritize and organize tickets during high-volume service
Ensure food runners and servers have the correct garnishes, sides, and utensils
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo area and service window
Assist with basic garnishing, plating, or finishing when needed
Support team with restocking, prep communication, and special event setups
Qualifications :
Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
Team-oriented with great communication skills
Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
Previous expo, server, or kitchen experience preferred
Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required
