The Revenue Manager – External Services is responsible for managing revenue strategy and client relationships for independent resort clients using the IDeaS G3 Revenue Management System. This role focuses on maximizing top-line revenue by analyzing performance data, identifying market trends, and developing rate and inventory strategies tailored to each property.

This team member will lead weekly and monthly client meetings, translate complex revenue management concepts into actionable strategies, and ensure consistent execution of best practices across a diverse portfolio of resorts. They will serve as the primary liaison between Odyssey’s Revenue Management Services and client properties, providing hands-on support, education, and strategic guidance.

Success in this role requires a blend of analytical skill, hospitality, insight, and excellence in client service. The Revenue Manager will play a key role in helping independent resorts unlock the full value of their RMS investment, especially those in rural markets with limited access to in-house revenue expertise.

Responsible for driving top-line revenue, the revenue manager uses various tools to analyze performance data, identify market trends, and understand resort demand to set winning rate and inventory strategies for multiple North Shore resorts. This team member is in constant communication with on-property resort leadership to align on pricing, market segmentation management, seasonality management, and accurate forecasting of all key revenue indicators to ensure achievement of resort revenue goals.

Requirements :

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree; 4+ years’ complex and strategic experience hospitality revenue management; or acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience; experience managing multiple properties preferred; familiarity with the IDeaS G3 RMS required; IDeaS G3 RMS Certified User status preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external resort clients using the IDeaS G3 RMS, managing relationships and ensuring consistent execution of revenue strategies.
  • Schedule and lead weekly and monthly revenue meetings with clients to review performance, discuss strategy, and align on upcoming pricing and inventory decisions.
  • Update and manage selling strategies and product information across all distribution channels (onsite, OTA, brand websites, GDS, etc.) to optimize top-line revenue.
  • Analyze historical and real-time data to forecast demand and develop dynamic pricing strategies tailored to each property’s market conditions.
  • Collaborate with client resort leadership and internal teams (COO, marketing, operations) to align revenue strategies across Rooms and Food & Beverage.
  • Translate complex revenue management concepts into actionable recommendations for clients, providing education and support as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory distribution across all systems, ensuring rate parity and availability.
  • Conduct competitive set analysis and market research to inform pricing decisions and identify opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Track regional trends and demand shifts, especially in rural or seasonal markets, to proactively adjust strategies.
  • Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes for each client property.
  • Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports, highlighting key metrics and actionable insights.
  • Maintain historical data and performance benchmarks to support long-term strategy development.
  • Stay current on RMS best practices, IDeaS G3 system updates, and hospitality industry trends to continuously improve service delivery.
  • Ensure data integrity and confidentiality between Odyssey Resorts and external clients, maintaining a clear operational firewall where needed.

  • Must be able to demonstrate good communication skills (verbal, non-verbal and written).
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to use hands and sit. The employee is frequently required to talk and hear. The employee will seldom be required to stand, walk, reach, and kneel. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move objects up to 10 pounds, occasionally lifting and / or moving objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to a quiet, standard office environment. The employee will be required to use a computer, copy / fax / scan machine, calculator and telephone.

    Light travel (up to three days per month or as needed) is a requirement of this position.

    Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, the employee may be required to work varying schedules that reflect the business needs of the resort. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.
