GovCIO QA Engineer Opportunity
GovCIO is seeking a QA Engineer. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced team and have demonstrated experience with manual testing in a federal government client environment. This customer-facing role will be instrumental in ensuring customer satisfaction. This position will be fully remote within the United States.
Responsibilities :
- Develop, publish, and implement test plans for complex, multi-tier, distributed applications throughout the full lifecycle.
- Develop manual or automated testing systems using commercial tools, scripts, and data set.
- Participate in all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, load, and system testing.
- Assure the appropriate level of quality by the resolution of important defects by working with developers and / or engineers to ensure the software or hardware development process has an appropriate level of testing.
- Develop response strategies and processes for high-criticality and security vulnerability related bug notifications.
- Pro-actively investigate and find potential security holes and attack vectors within both the existing and newly developed code base.
- Work in iterative development cycles with cross-functional teams using Agile / Scrum methodologies.
- Communicate effectively with federal clients, developers, and program managers.
Qualifications :
Required Skills and Experience :Bachelor's degree in information technology, or related field.5-8 years of experience in IT.4 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.Experience with Jira, X-ray, AWS.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies, specifically Kanban.Clearance Requirement :Must be able to obtain a DHS Public Trust.Preferred Skills and Experience :ATF experience in AWS.Company Overview :
