Minden, NV  is a small town located in the western part of Nevada, in the Carson Valley, about 15 miles south of Carson City and roughly 45 miles south of Reno. It serves as the county seat of Douglas County. The area is known for its picturesque landscapes, characterized by the backdrop of the Sierra Nevada Mountains to the west and the Carson Range to the east. Minden itself is a charming, historic town with a population of just under 4,000 people.

Pay : Starting $22 an hour

What you will do : As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative business relating to the activities required to process accounts payable. Invoice Management : Receive, verify, and log invoices from vendors. Payment processing : Schedule and prepare payments, including checks, while monitoring for discount opportunities. Expense tracking : Charge expenses to the correct accounts and cost centers. Reconciliation : Reconcile vendor statements and accounts to ensure accuracy. Record keeping : maintain historical records, filing systems, and other important financial documents.

To be considered you should : High school diploma~ Three years of accounts payable / accounting procedures and related bookkeeping experience ~ If required to operate a company vehicle during the course of employment, must meet the requirements to be an eligible ROP driver~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.

Schedule :

Monday - Friday ~ 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm ~ 1 hour lunch
