Senior Director, Product Management

Exercising discretion at a more senior level, oversee the setting and driving of the strategic agenda and lead business strategy building through high-level economic studies and statistical data.

Support strategic insight and business strategy development for new products.

May lead and manage a team of product managers tasked with developing complex data models through compilation, analysis, and reporting of economic data to support strategic proposals via deep engagement with platform stakeholders, users, and internal and external partners.

Understand industry trends and other economic drivers, market demands, and the company's presence in the market, as well as the overall economic impact of these factors on business strategy.

Develop and manage platform roadmaps to optimize innovation, cost, and risk management.

Work across product, engineering, and design to identify data platform solutions to mission critical enterprise problems.

Identify KPIs, objectives, and key results to manage forecast preparation and review economic performance of a business line or a product.

Maintain relationships with stakeholders across lines of business to maintain a strategic understanding of the role of data analytic solutions to business-critical product development and implementation.

Minimum requirements :

• Requires a bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field and 9 years of experience working in data analytics.
• In lieu of a bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 9 years of experience as stated, employer will accept a master's or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields or an MBA or foreign equivalent degree in a quantitative concentration and 7 years of experience as stated.
• Position reports to New York, NY office.
• Telecommuting permitted in accordance with company policy, but must live within commuting distance of stated office.
• Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
