What You’ll Do

As a Peer Mentor, you’ll be a supportive companion to individuals preparing for discharge from a state-operated mental health facility. You’ll offer encouragement, practical support, and resource connections to help them transition smoothly into independent living, and thrive in the community.

You'll work where the support is needed : in the facility, in the client’s home, or out in the community. This is a dynamic, people-centered role where no two days are quite the same. If you love helping others and believe recovery is possible for everyone, this role is made for you!
