What Youll Do
Deliver expert, compassionate care to critically ill cardiac and medical patients
Identify complex clinical changes and act swiftly to stabilize and support patients
Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and fellow nurses to drive the best outcomes
Develop and document individualized plans of care that reflect precision and compassion
Serve as an advocate for patients and families through every phase of critical illness
Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and the Contemporary Primary Nursing Model
Contribute to quality improvement, patient safety, and evidence-based practice initiatives
Mentor and educate new nurses, sharing knowledge and elevating team performance
What Youll Bring
Associates degree in nursing required; BSN preferred (or commitment to obtain within 4 years)
Active RN license in the District of Columbia required (compact not accepted)
Current CPR / BLS certification required within 90 days of hire
Prior clinical experience preferred ICU, Stepdown, or Telemetry experience a plus
