Position Highlights :
- Competitive pay ranging from $22.29 to $32.83 per hour, depending on experience
- Extra compensation available for bilingual skills!
- 10-hour shifts with rotating Saturdays
What You'll Do :
Maintain accurate and updated patient medical records, including vital signs, treatments, medications, and immunization history.Set the stage for patient visits by preparing files and collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure effective scheduling and continuity of care.Prepare and support exam rooms, explain procedures, provide patient education and coaching, address patient inquiries, and assist physicians during examinations.Collect and prepare lab specimens, administer medications, and carry out assigned clinical tasks.Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED required.Graduation from an accredited medical assisting program (one-year certificate / diploma or two-year Associate Degree) recognized by CAAHEP or ABHES, completing a minimum of 720 training hours, including at least a 160-hour clinical externship.Preferred : One year of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).Must obtain CPR certification within 90 days of hire.Certification or interim certification as a Medical Assistant from the Washington State Department of Health is required.Bilingual English / Spanish preferred at a level of 10.Strong medical knowledge for understanding relevant theories and technical aspects of medicine.Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with a diverse range of personalities and backgrounds.Ability to multitask and efficiently manage various workload demands.Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Epic, and EMR systems.Our Mission Statement
