Registered Nurse - Non-Invasive Cardiology - Full-time Days

Shift : 7a-3 : 30p; Every 3rd weekend

Unit Overview

Our Non-Invasive Cardiology team is dedicated to delivering safe, high-quality care while supporting one another every step of the way. We have intersocietal accreditation commission (IAC) accreditation which speaks to our diligence on quality. In this role, you'll perform a variety of cardiac stress testing as well as special procedures such as tilt table testing, TEE's, and cardioversions. Teamwork is at the heart of everything we do, as procedures often involve working with multiple modalities and strong involvement from a supervising Cardiologist. What makes us a great place to work is our exceptional culture of transparency and strong focus on positivity. This position covers both Warren and Madison Heights, with most shifts based in Warren.

General Summary

Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient / family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

Education / Experience Required

BSN preferred.

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.

Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.

Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.

Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Certifications / Licensures Required

Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.

Health care provider certification (BCLS).
